Which dog longevity drugs is my dog the right age and size for?

Each drug is being developed for dogs of a certain age and size. Put in your dog's and see which fit.

Which ones is my dog the right age and size for?

A 12-year-old, 30 lb dog is in the age and weight range for LOY-002 only.

Drug or trialPublished limitsYour dog
LOY-002 10+ years, 14+ lb Fits
LOY-001 7+ years, 40+ lb Outside the weight range
LOY-003 5+ years, 60+ lb Outside the weight range
Rapamycin trial (TRIAD) 7+ years, about 44 to 121 lb Outside the weight range

These are the limits in the developers' own descriptions and the trial's published design. Fitting them does not mean a dog should have the drug; none of the three is approved yet.

Where the limits come from

Loyal's descriptions of its three drugs (Loyal) and the TRIAD trial's published design (GeroScience). The final labels may differ, and a conditionally approved drug may only be used inside its label's limits (FDA). The STAY study of LOY-002 is no longer taking dogs.

Whether your dog should take any of these is a question for your vet, who knows its health.
